How to Break in Orange Insoles

How to Break in Orange Insoles

Thank you for purchasing your Orange Insoles! We’re excited for you to join the thousands of people who have found pain relief using our product and trying some of the tips we write about in our blog.

But, you should also know that it can take a few weeks before you start to realize the full benefit of wearing these insoles.

Here’s how to get started breaking in your new Orange Insoles:

  • Open the box and take out the insoles. Look at the bottom of the insole to see which one goes in the right shoe and which goes in the left.
  • If you purchased Orange Full, remove the liner in your shoe and place the insole where the liner would normally go.
  • If you purchased Orange Light or Orange 3/4, just set the insole in the shoe.

Starting out, wear your insoles for small blocks of time - an hour here or there, working up to full days. Your body will need time to get used to the new alignment and you may feel some discomfort or strange sensations as your body starts to adapt.

That’s perfectly normal.

Within about two weeks, you should be wearing your insoles all day and the discomfort should be long past gone. Your body will start to get used to its new alignment.

It can take up to two weeks for your body to get used to its new alignment. Be patient with your body, you didn’t get misaligned overnight…and you won’t be realigned overnight either!

Strengthen & Stretch, Too

When your body has been out of alignment for a long time, support is only one part of the equation you need to let healing occur.

You also need to start to stretch & strengthen the areas of your body that have been over-developed or under-developed due to prolonged misalignment.

To help you get started, we’ve put together a few guides that you may find helpful:

You also want to make sure you’ve got the right shoes. Our blog has a ton of resources to help you measure your feet properly and choose the best shoes. Here are some of those posts:

Of course, there’s lots more where those came from! We encourage you to check out the rest of the resources, as we publish often.

Finally, if there’s any feedback you ever have, we’re happy to listen. Please feel free to reach out; we love hearing from customers!
